Martha Walker Native Habitat Garden
As a memorial to Martha Walker, the Martha Walker Native Habitat Garden in Skyline Park invites visitors to enjoy a unique presentation of flora from all over the State. This 2.5 acre site was constructed to accommodate school groups, garden and hiking clubs and the casual visitor.
Turtle Bay Exploration Park educates visitors of all ages with entertaining and stimulating exhibitions and programs that interpret the complex relationships between people and their environments. Using the unique cultural, historical, and natural resources including those in the Sacramento River Region, Turtle Bay serves as a catalyst for exploring universal human experiences.

The Moorten "Desertland" Botanical Garden
A compact showcase of desert trees and cacti. It is only about an acre in size, but every square inch is packed with desert specimens. It is truly a desert gem, well worth a visit. The map you receive upon entering indicates the different regions where the plants are native. The desert regions represented include; the Sonoran, Mojave, Arizona, California, Texas, Colorado, and Central Mexico.
Nestled amid the red buttes of Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Garden hosts one of the world’s finest collections of desert plants. One of only 44 botanical gardens accredited by the American Association of Museums, this one-of-a-kind museum showcases 50 acres of beautiful outdoor exhibits.
