Gardens:  The program is filled with residential landscape photography to serve as examples for things you can do.  It has garden tours which allows you to move about an outstanding landscape with hot links to the plants that compose them. Great landscape pictures are also divided into helpful categories like, front yards, back yards, raised planters, fences, gates, dry creek beds, nightscaping, fireplaces and much more.

Plants:  The program comes with a built in plant database of over 550 water efficient plants researched and reviewed by water district horticulturists and edited by desert writer Mary Irish.  You can look up plants from problem solving lists, look them up by name or perform a search by answering a brief number of easy to answer questions. Print out a list of plants you like and run off to the nursery for purchases to aid you in your next landscape improvement project.
